Student Support

The Guy Morel Institute student support. Get help from and advises for any queries you may have. Our student representative are here to help.

The Student Registration and Admission office is the first place to come when you have queries, worries or concerns. While you are responsible for your own health and well-being, The Guy Morel Institute is committed to providing its support to ensure that you are able to juggle your studies and social life with other commitments such as employment or caring responsibilities. We will listen without judgement, offer new viewpoints and together with you come up with relevant strategies.

Our office is open from Monday to Friday from 8am until 4pm to offer you email and telephone advice, easily bookable appointments and drop-in sessions for urgent concerns.

Our officers offer a wide range of advice on issues that may affect your learning. There will be instances when we would direct you to another personnel within the Institute, your student representative or even an external organization for further advice and/or counselling.

STUDENT REPRESENTATIVES

To facilitate the communication between the students and staff of the Institute, a Student Representative in each class (a class is a group of students enrolled on a long programme in a particular year) is elected by their fellow colleagues at the start of their studies to represent their views and interests. Student Representatives are represented on the various committees of the Institute.
